Facts and figures on some IRC publications
In the first half of 2007 IRC has published 5 new titles. PDF versions of IRC publications were downloaded more than 13,000 times. A number of papers have been promoted on other web sites and discussed in international journals.

Final round KM e-conference: How to give Knowledge Management higher priority

The fourth and final round of the Knowledge Management (KM) e-conference will look at ways to convince managers to give KM higher priority. You are challenged to think about examples and to share your experiences to help raise the profile of KM. Your examples do not necessarily have to be positive, often more can be learnt from failures.
The e-conference will run from 4 – 20 November 2005.
Financing water and sanitation and Local government
IRC facilitated two content streams during the First Global WASH Forum in Dakar. One content stream focused on financing and the other on local government. Both streams came with clear recommendations and conclusions for reaching the MDGs for water and sanitation.
Focus on solving a real problem through learning

Focus on solving an urgent problem on the ground through learning with various stakeholders. Only then donors are interested to fund learning platforms and processes. That was one of the strong messages on the last day of the Symposium on Learning Alliances (7-9 June).
