Key partnerships
IRC has strong links with partner organisations in Africa, Asia and Latin America, and also works in close cooperation with international networks, and organisations and sector institutions in the North
Networks
IRC and its partners have helped to set up varous international networks of collaboration. For the Gender and Water Alliance IRC is an active member. The Streams of Knowledge coalition of resource centres emerged in 2000. IRC's RCD programme started in 2002.
Northern partners
IRC collaborates with other sector institutions and organisations in the Netherlands and other countries in Europe and North America in a variety of joint activities, including information sharing, publishing and capacity building.
Southern partners
IRC's principal Southern partners, with whom it currently works on a range of information and knowledge sharing and capacity building activities, are located in Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Colombia, India, Kenya, Mozambique, Nepal, Philippines, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
