AIDMI’s Mihir Bhatt’s presentation touched upon the absence of disaster mitigation strategies that take into account water access and delivery. According to Mr Bhatt, many State disaster plans do not mention drinking water in planning, and there is a lack of data articulating the interplay between disasters and drinking water.
