Indian high-level roundtable on sustainable drinking water services

In association with the All India Disaster Mitigation Institute (AIDMI) and the Centre of Excellence for Change Management (CEC), the IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre organised a one-day Roundtable dedicated to the theme Sustainable Drinking Water Services at Scale: Everyone Forever. The discussions took place on 13 March 2013 in New Delhi. A number of materials were developed around this meeting which are available here.



Sustainability is a serious challenge for the Indian water sector, says government

13 March 2013, New Delhi. The severe drought which currently affects around 10 states in India, reminds us that sustainability is a serious challenge for the drinking water sector. This remark comes from Pankaj Jain IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, who inaugurated the IRC-India Roundtable on "Sustainable Drinking Water Services at Scale: Everyone Forever’’.

IRC hosts Indian high-level roundtable on sustainable drinking water services

In association with the All India Disaster Mitigation Institute (AIDMI) and the Centre of Excellence for Change Management (CEC), the IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre is organising a one-day Roundtable dedicated to the theme Sustainable Drinking Water Services at Scale: Everyone Forever. The Roundtable takes place on 12 March 2013 at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. One of the objectives is to develop a national sustainability framework for action that will help anchor IRC’s India country programme in the next three to five years.
