Ethiopia’s National WASH Inventory (NWI) seminar: lessons learned and maximising value”

On Monday 8 April, 2013 the Ministry of Water and Energy of the Government of Ethiopia will host the seminar “Ethiopia’s National WASH Inventory (NWI): lessons learned and maximising value”, in the Hilton Addis Ababa Hotel, from 09:00 to 17:00 hrs.
Note: this is an invitation-only session; spaces are prioritised for Ethiopian WASH sector representatives.
This day-long seminar will bring together Ethiopian government staff, non-governmental organisations, key federal government agencies and other stakeholders involved in designing, collecting data, and analysing it for the NWI. Key discussion topics include:
- Findings and implications from the first National WASH Inventory;
- Lessons learned in undertaking the National WASH Inventory in data collection, analysis, and reporting;
- Making data available and encouraging use: what is needed to maximise its value?
The seminar is actively supported by IRC's Ethiopia country programme.
