In 2009, WASHCost collected socioeconomic, financial and technical data to assess the cost and the quality of WASH services in nine villages: Aorema, Bouère, Dossi, Komsilga, Margo, Yagma in Ouahigouya sector 1, sector 2 Houndé and in Ouaga sector 30.
IRC collected real expenditures data on water points based on investment (construction works), renewal (on one or more components of the works) and operation (management, maintenance and repairs).
