IRC Symposium 2013: Monitoring Sustainable WASH Service Delivery

On 9 to 11 April 2013, IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre will organise the Monitoring Sustainable WASH Service Delivery symposium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The symposium will be hosted the Ministry of Water and Energy, and the Ministry of Health of the Government of Ethiopia and is being organised in partnership with the African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW), WaterAid, Water and Sanitation for Africa (WSA), Rural Water Supply Network (RWSN), Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC), and Water For People.

The symposium will provide a global platform for sharing the latest initiatives, tools, indicators and experiences and will consist of parallel sessions, with plenary debates.The umbrella theme of monitoring sustainable WASH services has been organised into six different topics.

Extra sessions and events

In addition to the scheduled three-day symposium programme, we will host evening sessions as well as on Monday and Friday during the day. A closed meeting with the African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW), chaired by African Union Commission, will also take place on Friday, 12 April 2012.

Registration & Hotel

Spaces are limited, so we invite individuals/ organisations wishing to attend the symposium as participants to register now. A number of rooms are reserved at the Hilton Addis Ababa Hotel, and are offered at a special price. More about the registration and hotel reservations here.

Display stands at the symposium

We provide interested organisations with the possibility to have a stand in the main corridor of the symposium venue. The cost are US$ 1,500 for international and US$ 750 for local stands.
