Congratulations! I don't know how I got on this site and if it automatically replaced my old IRC homepage, but at 17.28 hrs I suddenly found myself submerged
Its simple layout reads well, but is less attractive than the old one, probably because there are no illustrations (yet?)
The thin letters read better (my opinion) than the blue ones

Nice look, but content is king

I like the uncluttered look, and so long as the subject list on the left hand side is kept up to date and adjusted to the changing content it should prove easy to get around. Personally I don't care for the picture list of icons and folders on the right. This space could be used to highlight new content.
Content is, of course, what counts. If the site is to be a leader for the sector then it must take a broad outward looking approach. I hope the site will promote water and sanitation news and debate first, and let us drill down to find internal stuff. Make this the 'must have' site for water issues.
That said, when I tried to find a member of staff's e-mail address, it wasn't there. As you already profile your senior staff, perhaps you should add their e-mail addresses.
Good luck. It is on my list of favourite sites.
