BURGÉAP

An independent company of engineering consultants. BURGÃAP operates in an advisory capacity for developers of major industrial or infrastructure projects or for the States to help resolve their water supply and environmental problems. As far as basic utilities are concerned, BURGÃAP is active in three areas: water and sanitation, energy and solid waste. They have conducted major rural and semi-urban water supply projects in Western Africa; decentralised rural electrification projects and waste collection and treatment in Latin America and Brasil. BURGÃAP has always insisted on the development of local expertise, and is now working with several local consulting firms in developing countries. BURGÃAP also develops specific methods to evaluate the effective demand for water, sanitation and energy.
