Institute of Environmental Studies (IES)

IES services include: research; database establishment; information collation and dissemination; consultancy; and education. Research focuses on natural resources management, including soil and water conservation and the use of geographic information systems (GIS).
IES is a member of the Southern African Network for Training and Research on the Environment (SANTREN).
