Association of River Waterworks (RIWA)

The RIWA is an association of waterworks that extract surface water as a resource for drinking water. For this reason, the quality of the river water is monitored closely by the waterworks companies that are united within the RIWA. The catchment basins of the rivers Rhine, Meuse and Scheldt form the sphere of activity of the RIWA.
