Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC)

JBIC undertakes lending and other financial operations for a.o. the economic and social development or economic stability in developing areas. Grant aid is primarily channelled to support basic human needs, such as public health, water supply, and rural and agricultural development. Grant aid is implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
