IRC aim to support sustainable WASH services at scale, and we collaborate with the MoWE in several different areas. Currently we are supporting the Ministry to implement an appropriate approach to self supply that builds upon research on the use of traditional wells, and we co-lead a Self Supply Working Group with the Ministry. IRC are also part of the COWASH team which is supporting the Ministry to roll-out the Community Managed Projects (CMP) approach nationwide. IRC signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support collaboration on 9 November 2012.
