Cooperative Research Centre for Freshwater Ecology (CRCFE)

The CRCFE is specialising in river and wetland ecology. It aims to develop ecological understanding to improve and protect Australia's inland waterways by collaborative research, education, resource management, policy advice and community liaison. One of their programs is on water quality and ecological assessment.
