Pan African Institute for Development West Africa - Institut Panafricain pour le developpement (PAID / IPD)

International non-profit organisation dealing with capacity building of persons working in the field of development cooperation. It runs internationally-recognised training courses addressing contemporary needs in Africa, including community management of rural water supplies. It also offers a wide range of field research and consultancy services.

IPD / PAID consists of four regional institutes: IPD/AC for the Central African francophone countries; IPD/WA for the Central African english countries; IPD/AOS for the francophone and lusophone countries of West Africa and the Sahel; IPD/ESA for Eastern and Southern Africa.
