Humanist Institute for Cooperation with Developing Countries (Hivos)

Hivos provides financial and political support to over eight hundred local private organisations in more than thirty countries. The activities of these organisations centre around five policy themes: economy and credit facilities, culture and the arts, women and development, sustainable development, human rights and AIDS.
