African Medical and Research Foundation (Kenya) (AMREF)

AMREF is Africa's largest indigenous health charity and has worked to research and alleviate Africa's health problems. AMREF's activities are divided into five programme areas: Child and Adolescent; Health and Development; Sexual and Reproductive Health; Clinical Services and Emergency Response; Health Policy and Systems Reform; Environmental Health. The work in Africa is co-ordinated from various offices in the region.
