World Meteorological Organization - Hydrology and Water Resources Programme (WMO HWRP)

The overall objective of the Hydrology and Water Resources Programme of the World Meteorological Organization is to apply hydrology to meet the needs for sustainable development and use of water and related resources; to the mitigation of water-related disasters; and to effective environmental management at national and international levels. The programme is also promoting the establishment of World Hydrological Cycle Observing System (WHYCOS).
