United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization - International Hydrological Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNESCO IHP)

Main objective of the IHP is to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the region through the scientific and technological development of water sciences. The IHP-VI topics are framed under five themes: global changes and water resources; integrated watershed and aquifer dynamics; land habitat hydrology; water and society; water education and training.
