WaterAid's mission is to overcome poverty by enabling the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.
WaterAid works in seventeen countries in Africa, Asia and the Pacific region: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea and Timor-Leste.
It is also a member of the European Alliance of Resource Centres of the Streams of Knowledge's Network.
Parts of the site are available in French, Spanish and Portuguese.
