Training for Capacity Development
Training is a key element in broader Capacity Development in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene sector. Training events, in all there various forms, are key for developing and maintaining human resources capacities and catalysing sector learning for change. As of 2012 IRC's business plan provides again for renewed investment in training provision, but also develop training management and delivery capacity among partners in focus countries and regions. A training management team at IRC HQ in The Hague is leading this endeavour.

Training@IRC events
IRC started to use Eventbrite services in April 2012 to advertise training events offered by IRC or its partners. Events published will include both open en restricted (training) events. The purpose is to give the visitor an insight into the types of training events - in terms of content and nature - that are being organised. By also publishing major WASH sector events, visitors can see to what extent training events are organised back-to-back with more general events to facilitate participation. For any queries you may contact us directly from here or from our pages on Eventbrite [note that a full overview of events is currently being set up and may take some weeks to complete, May 2012].
