UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education (UNESCO-IHE)

UNESCO-IHE contributes to the education and training of professionals and builds the capacity of knowledge centres and other organisations in the fields of water, the environment and infrastructure in developing countries and countries in transition. Their Water Engineering Department carries out education, research and projects related to water resources assessment and control, water supply and irrigation, navigation and hydropower, river, port and coastal engineering and floods, droughts and pollution.
