Alterra

Alterra is part of Wageningen University and Research Centre. Alterra's research is divided over five centres: Soil Science, Water and Climate, Geo-Information, Landscape en Ecosystems. In 2002, Alterra merged with ILRI (Institute for Land Reclamation and Improvement). Alterra-ILRI operates as part of the Centre Water and Climate and concentrates on the dissemination of knowledge to facilitate the improvement and sustainability of land and water management in developing countries.
