International Secretariat for Water (ISW)

ISW was established to assist with the implementation of the principles set forth in the Montreal Charter on Drinking Water and Sanitation adopted in Montreal in June 1990. Together with its partners, the ISW is at the heart of development activities, strengthening institutions and promoting interaction between the populations, community associations, NGOs and other international cooperation organizations.
