Your contributions are valuable to us! Inform and enrich work in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector with lessons learnt from your community’s experience in WASH services and integrated water resource management (IWRM). Get your story published in the Source Bulletin and the Voice of Communities blog, which reaches over 40,000 readers and stakeholders in the water sector, including government, NGOs, academics, donors and communities.

Make a contribution towards the improvement of WASH services

IRC takes an interest in featuring original essays, stories and articles.

In making a contribution, your story should be concise (700-1000 words long); is written in either of the following languages: English, French or Spanish; and clearly conveys the following:

  •  the problem or situation
  •  the key interventions employed to mitigate these, and
  •  the outcomes of interventions taken.

Where possible, incorporating a picture with your contribution in order to visually represent your entry is strongly encouraged.

Entries will be reviewed by the IRC Editorial Committee and contributors whose work will be selected for publishing will receive a token amount of €50.

For added information and guidelines for contribution, please refer to story guidelines.
