Harriette Naa Lamiley Bentil normally writes stories for the Daily Graphic on the environment and sanitation particularly for Accra, the capital of Ghana. IRC sponsored her to bring in her local journalistic perspectives during the Stockholm Water Week. She is sharing her highlights from the day here. Rabin Bastola talking about Nepal and water and sanitation know-how

WaterCube.tv in Stockhom talks with Rabin Bastola of the Resource Centre Network in Nepal (RCNN). This network shares knowledge in water and sanitation with local partner organisations. WaterCube talks with Rabin about the kind of information the RCNN is sharing - specifically ecological sanitation, which can dramatically improve health and living conditions for the poor. Donors and national governments should include schools as part of their overall water and sanitation programmes. This was a key conclusion from the "WASH in Schools" session organised by UNICEF and IRC on Sunday, 16 August 2009.
