Join the power of online video at World Water Week

Updated - Tuesday 06 October 2009

The Water Cube is the place to be if you're interested in the power of online video at World Water Week.

Anyone can drop by and join in the conversation. Share ideas and interactions with our dynamic, independent, constantly changing team of video reporters, drawn from some of the water sector's most innovative organisations. We can show how to use online video to begin documenting your own work to global audiences, sharing knowledge and creating unexpected partnerships and opportunities.

The channel and videos will be launched at the start of the World Water Week on 16 August 2009. Partners include Akvo, IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre, Ghana Water and Sanitation Journalist Network and SIWI. Harriete Naa Lamiley Lamptey, is a Senior Environmental Reporter of the Daily Graphic in Ghana and will be conducting interviews of participants at the World Water Week. She has a blog as well.

World Water Week is the first water conference to do event-based online video. It will create an active channel to promote the issues and personalities during the event and in the year beyond.
