Water Management in the Desert - Photo story

This is a photo story of good and bad examples of water and land management along the Cairo-Alexandria desert road.

I compiled this story in pictures from a field-trip on 24 January 2009 by journalists and experts during the first “Water and Land” capacity development workshop for Arab journalists, Cairo, Egypt. I helped design and facilitate the workshop that was organised by the UN-Water Decade programme on Capacity Development and the Arab Water Council.
