During the AfricaSan+5 Conference the main findings and conclusions from the Practitioners Seminar on Rural Household and School Sanitation & Hygiene, Moshi, November 2007 were presented.
This successful seminar gave directions to both policy-makers and practitioners on five main areas:
- institutional, approaches & methodologies (drivers and triggers),
- community,
- technology,
- primary school issues, and
- capacity building & learning.
The presentation at AfricaSan gave a synthesis of the seminar and was received as to the point and very useful.
