RCD Uganda

In the last decades, many water and sanitation programmes have been implemented in Uganda. This has created a wealth of knowledge on key issues such as community participation, gender, organisation of operation and management, demand-responsive approaches, cost recovery, and appropriate technologies. The basket of knowledge is impressive and makes it possible to arrive at site-specific, efficient and effective solutions adapted to different environmental, socio-economic and cultural conditions.
