Follow-up activities

Several ideas were generated at the event that could be developed with further participation from attendees or other interested parties. These included:

• A glossary of terms and how different sectors understand them. An initial list is provided here:

Glossary of Terms: Small scale finance in water and sanitation

• Additional case studies where microfinance has been used in water and sanitation

• Community of practice for organisations and individuals to provide their contact details and be involved in ongoing communication. This should include financial institutions from developing countries, credit rating agencies, and small scale providers of WS&H.
