Input in MSc course of KNUST, Ghana

IRC staff members went to the Kwame Nkruma University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana, to give input into an MSc course by the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education and KNUST on Water supply and environmental sanitation, and Water Resources Management. IRC’s input into this course was the development of and lecturing on three modules within these combined courses, on:

  • community participation, community management
  • cost recovery and financing
  • institutional development

A total of 22 students (10 from Water Resources and 12 from Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation) participated in the modules. (2007)
