Water and Sanitation Management Organisation (WASMO)

WASMO is an autonomous organisation established by the Government of Gujarat in 2002. It seeks to improve the standard of living of rural communities by enabling them to have adequate, safe and sustainable drinking water and an improved habitat. WASMO believes this can be achieved through empowerment and capacity building of the community and its leaders, and by bridging the knowledge and information gap between policy makers, funding agencies, NGOs, and village communities.
