Sanitation- recycling of water and nutrients by LVS

Bo G Hellers (prof KTH), comment on United Nations: 2008 declared International Year of Sanitation

LVS (Low Vacuum System) is a system by which low vacuum is applied for ventilation and efficient low flush discharge and local transportation, converted into long range pressurized transportation in small ducts. Black water is treated by immediate anaerobic digestion, with focus on gas production and the following sludge storage before spreading on growing crops. Grey water is treated in the conventional way. By separation the capacity of existing plants is enhanced by 50%.
