As part of the current USAID project "Operationalising HIV/AIDS Issues For Development", HEARD has prepared sector-specific briefs on HIV/AIDS. There are twenty-eight AIDS briefs in all, each written by an expert in the field, which offer sector-specific guide-lines and responses for those involved in various professional, commercial and industrial endeavours. Check-lists are a standard feature, enabling operatives to plot their progress against requirements unique to their sphere of activity, and suggesting innovative approaches.

UNAIDS: The Joint UN Programme on HIV/AIDS.

A major resource site of the joint UN Programme. The site has a large electronic bibliography with many articles on site. Includes sub-sites on Best Practices, including articles on Gender and HIV/AIDS, Community Mobilization, and HIV/AIDS Education. There are also descriptions of the International Partnership Against AIDS in Africa, and related regional activities. The site also provides links to the Programme's Co-Sponsors: WHO, UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA, UNESCO, the World Bank and UNDCP.
