How and when was IRC established?
IRC was established as the International Reference Centre for Community Water Supply on 19 December 1968 by an agreement between the World Health Organization and the Dutch Government, to become the hub of a network of some 32 National WHO Collaborating Institutions in both developed and developing countries.
