The Kids Corner has sections for students and educators about: groundwater basics; classroom activities; games, tools, puzzles and colouring sheets; kits and models; and local events.

Hygiene education website by the Institut Pasteur offering scientific information and thematic activity sheets for teachers, and games and fun activities for pupils. One example is the "Hygiene Passport" where every child has a passport with concrete, time bound objectives related to hygiene. A "visa" can be delivered by the teacher when a target is met. The passport is also a game book.

A nice way to start teaching about water could be the explanation of the water cycle. The water cycle illustrates the path of water and shows where water may be taken out of the cycle for people to use. US Geological Survey's Water Cycle is available in 37 languages.

The WRC provides fact sheets on some 25 different topics ranging from alien plants to wetlands and from groundwater to sanitation and water scarcity. There is also a Career Guide aimed at high school learners, that focuses on potential careers in the water sector. A series of Lesson Plans on Water for Grade R to Grade 10 has also been developed in collaboration with ShareNet (a project of the Wildlife and Environmental Society of South Africa [Wessa].
