Opportunity for cooperation with the St2eep project in zimbabwe?

The Secondary Teacher Training Environmental Education Programme (St2eep) in Zimbabwe is a national programme that seeks to integrate Environmental Education (EE) across the curriculum in secondary teacher training and to enhance the implementation of EE in secondary schools and surrounding communities. EE involves learning and planning together, followed by action-taking to bring about solutions to environmental problems. As such, the programme works towards the sustainable utilization of natural resources and the development of life skills in Zimbabwe.
St2eep has developed an environmental education orientation programme for teacher trainers and school teachers.
Organising this training programme in the schools and communities where the water and sanitation project will be implemented could strengthen the awareness and involvement of the community in the project and would provide opportunities to build in aspects of HIV/AIDS education.
