Angelica de Jesus

Project Officer, Global Team

Angelica de Jesus is a Project Officer- Writer/Process Documentalist for IRC's Global Team.

Angelica is a Master of Science: International Development (Cum Laude- Utrecht University, the Netherlands). Previously, she has gained experience in local governance and service delivery processes by helping to finalise the Local Sustainable Development Plan for the region of Manchester in Jamaica, as well as by conducting field research on the barriers to supply, access, and use of WASH services in the township communities of the Breede Valley Municipality in South Africa. Prior to joining IRC, she worked for the Embassy of Canada in Den Haag (the Netherlands), focusing on innovation policy and Dutch-Canadian trade sectors. Angelica also holds a Bachelor Degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Ryerson University in Toronto (Canada), where she actively took part in local community development and city planning initiatives.
