Anjani Abella

Anjani is a Programme Officer (Communications and Publications) at IRC.  

Anjani has over 8 years experience coordinating and implementing development programmes on issues of peace and security, human development, women's rights, and migration.  Central to her work experience is her involvement in civil society movement building; networking; and in strategically disseminating information and promoting (new) knowledge through the production of publications and event organising. Prior to joining IRC in May 2009, Anjani worked in regional organisations based in the Philippines, Thailand and Hong Kong. In IRC, Anjani coordinates and implements advocacy and communications projects, and undertakes writing and editorial tasks.

Anjani is a Master in Development Studies with a specialisation in Women, Gender and Develpment from the International Institute of Social Studies of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam (ISS).
