Jeske Verhoeven

Jeske Verhoeven began working at IRC in October 2008 and her work focuses mainly on WASH finances, Aid Effectiveness and Process Documentation.
In the WASHCost project she is responsible for development, coordination and facilitation of the Life-cycle cost approach training package and the Costing Sustainable Services online course. Within WASHCost, Jeske was also responsible for the development and implementation of life-cycle cost approach database protocol, research on expenditure on direct and indirect support, support to project management and involved in process documentation.
Within the IRC Aid Effectiveness thematic team, Jeske is responsible for development of training package to facilitate training on aid effectiveness, research on aid effectiveness in the water, sanitation and hygiene sector. As part of the IRC finance theme, she is involved in research on WASH finance, specifically of capital maintenance and urban sanitation. In the IRC Uganda country programme, Jeske is involved in the facilitation of training on process documentation and facilitation of writeshops, specific research on decentralised learning and Joint Sector Reviews.
Technical assistance: analysis of External Support Agency surveys for GLAAS report 2012, EUWI research on implementation of code of conduct for division of labour.
Jeske has a BA in Journalism from the School of Journalism in Utrecht, The Netherlands and an MA in International Development Studies from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. Speaks Dutch (mother tongue), English, German and French.
