Programa de Autodesarrollo para Iniciativas Sociales (PAIS)

Non-profit organization, active in Bolivia, Potosi. Prioritised programmes include: rural community development; potable water endowment and basic sanitation in rural areas; basic integral health; natural resources management; and natural disaster support. Founded in 1994 in response to the social and economical problems faced by families since the macro economical changes in Bolivia, such as the Popular Participation Law, Capitalisation and Decentralisation.
