Dony’s contribution raises a very important issue: the need for involving ALL stakeholders in sharing knowledge—not just exchanges among experts. This is possible and perhaps more easily accomplished when working at the community level. However, the next step is to ensure that this knowledge gets transferred up to district/regional/national levels and then transferred back out again to the community level in many different areas. So the trick is to figure out how to document and disseminate the information so others can use it—or perhaps it is documenting and sharing the “model” so each community can adapt the process to its own needs and context.
