AiDA - Accessible Information on Development Activities

AiDA is the largest online directory of official development aid activities. It provides a searchable database of nearly one million past and present aid activities around the world, aid information management services and tools, data visualization technologies, and research designed to increase understanding of development finance. Search results can be filtered by donor, recipient, purpose (sector), activity, year, amount, and keyword. In March 2013, nearly 34,000 water and sanitation projects were included in the database.

Eldis resource guide on financing policy

A searchable database of documents on financing and development selected by Eldis, a knowledge service from the Institute of Development Studies in the UK. Topics covered include domestic finance, foreign direct investment, international financial institutions, microfinance and taxation.
Financing Water for All

A joint operation by the World Water Council (WWC) and the Global Water Partnership (GWP), this web site provides information on the findings and recommendations of the World Panel on Financing Water Infrastructure (Camdessus Panel) and the Task Force on Financing Water for All (Gurria Task Force). The site also includes sections on MDG cost estimates and ODA for water, a searchable database of action case studies, a glossary, news and events.

United Nations Development Business Online

UN Development Business (UNDB), published by the United Nations Department of Public Information, is a subscription-based service, published both online and in paper form, providing information on opportunities to supply goods, works and services for projects financed by the UN, governments and the major development banks. UNDB Online is updated several times a week and is searchable by region, country, sector (including water supply and sanitation), bank, and other parameters. UNDB contains four general categories of information: development bank operational summaries; World Bank new project approvals; procurement notices; and contract award information. An annual subscription to UNDB Online costs US$ 550 (2007).
