AiDA - Accessible Information on Development Activities
AiDA is the largest online directory of official development aid activities - it lists over 220,000 ongoing or planned activities worldwide plus 300,000 archived projects and programmes. Out of this total there are some 20,000 registered water supply and sanitation activities (10,686 planned/ongoing and 9,847 archived activities as of Feb 2008). Information can be searched by country, funding type, status, amount, and keyword. Information is provided by donors and may not reflect all activities or most recent activities. AiDA should be considered a starting point for reviewing aid and development activities but not a comprehensive source. AiDA is provided by Development Gateway Foundation, in cooperation with the OECD, UNDP and World Bank.

Community of Science (COS)
COS provides information resources to researchers, scholars and other professionals. These include COS Funding Opportunities (over 25,000 current opportunities for grants, fellowships, and awards) and Scholar Universe (2 million profiles of scholars).
Development Executive Group
Provides a range of commercial business intelligence and recruiting services in the field of international development. This includes a daily procurement alert, a weekly newsletter on new project and procurements from development banks and multilateral and bilateral donor agencies, and donor guides. These subscription-based services are available for three membership levels: executive, small business and NGOs (US$ 75 per month, 2007), and individual (US$ 15 per month, 2007).
dgMarket
Provides development-related tender and consulting opportunities worldwide. There is a free email alert service and fee-based subscription options to view up 10 full tender notices per month (US$ 550/year) or 250 full tender notices per month (US$ 1,000). dgMarket is a service of the Development Gateway Foundation.

EU Water Initiative (EUWI) - Water Finance Guide
Provides information on finance mechanisms for the water sector. The guide is an initiative of the European Water Initiative Finance Working Group. The tool provides various selection criteria, such as eligibility, region and financing agency, that users can choose from in combination to exactly find those mechanisms that they are interested in.
EVD: Agency for International Business and Cooperation (Netherlands)
The Agency for International Business and Cooperation (EVD) is part of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. The Dutch section of the web site gives international business information on market developments, new projects and procurement notices per country and sector, including energy and water supply, water treatment and water management.
Financing Water for All
A joint operation by the World Water Council (WWC) and the Global Water Partnership (GWP), this web site provides information on the findings and recommendations of the World Panel on Financing Water Infrastructure (Camdessus Panel) and the Task Force on Financing Water for All (Gurria Task Force). The site also includes sections on MDG cost estimates and ODA for water, a searchable database of action case studies, a glossary, news and events.
Foundation Center (USA)
Although the Foundation Center is US-oriented, the site also contains an International Visitors area, designed to help visitors from countries outside the United States, and to help people seeking information on international grantmaking by U.S. foundations. Also provides access to useful tools such as: A Proposal Writing Short Course.
