IRC received an enquiry from a small French NGO, C'est faisable, for a particular kind of water pump suitable for use in Burkina Faso. The question was answered under the WELL enquiry service with the help of CREPA. The answer provided made the mission by C'est faisable to Burkina Faso "a total success".

The WELL enquiry service receives a wide variety of questions throughout the year. A request from Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) to verify a number of facts in a technical report on drilling a borehole for the Sudan was answered with the help of UNESCO-IHE staff. Mr. Jan Heeger of MSF was pleased with the result: "I like to thank you very much for your advice both the content and the speed of the advice are really appreciated. At least we know better how to read the report."
