The second round of the E-conference on knowledge management has started last weekend. Please share us your thoughts and experiences on how to get management levels enthusiastic on KM.

Yes the second round has started. But my feeling is the environment in which we operate (in this e-conference) is far from transparent.
Who are we writing to? Who reads us? How many are we? What makes us interested in KM?
I sincerely believe this conference would benefit and loosen up it's participants (lurkers?) if we all knew who we are, that participate in this e-conference.
Isn't it standard practise to have introductions and 'get to know each other a bit better' in phyiscal conferences? Why would we act differently when doing a virtual one?
