Updated - Tuesday 09 December 2003

Compiled by Maria-Lucía Borba and edited by Nicolette Wildeboer (1996)

Woman, Water, Sanitation is an annual, comprehensive overview of the latest documents on gender issues in water supply and sanitation. Each issue has a specific theme, and begins with a "state of the art" article on gender aspects in improving water supply, sanitation and hygiene, followed by over 60 abstracts of related literature, much of which is unpublished. There is also a section on resources which includes resource institutions, publication and article announcements, audio-visual news, capacity building possibilities, and internet information

Target audience: practitioners, policy makers, and academics working in water supply and sanitation

Published in association with PROWWESS/UNDP-World Bank Water and Sanitation Program with financial support from the Government of Norway. From 1998 onwards the Abstract Journal will only be accessible via our Internet site.
