Faith in Water
The Faith in Water workshop was held from 5-7 July 2009 in Salisbury, UK. IRC was the co-organiser and the workshop was initiated by the Alliance of Religions and Conservation (ARC) and the Dutch Ecological Management Foundation (EMF). The aim of the workshop was to explore the potential to strengthen WASH in Schools and environmental education through cooperation with Faiths which run faith-based schools.
Oxford Roundtable January 2005
From 24 to 26 January 2005, more than hundred people gathered in Oxford to discuss barriers to education related to water and sanitation. The participants included Ministers of Education and Water Supply, policy makers, programme specialists, donors, specialised institutions, development banks, the private sector and school children and young people from eight developing countries. One of the main outcomes of the Roundtable was the Joint Statement by all participants.

The international symposium discussed and confirmed a set of basic principles for effective school hygiene, sanitation and water initiatives.
E-conference on SSHE
The electronic conference on School Sanitation and Hygiene education “Every child clean through school hygiene” took place from 29 April to 14 June 2002.
