Transparent as water: supporting honesty in the water service sector

Transparent and honest management helps ensure sustainability and provides customers, the rich and poor alike, with better access to safe water supplies. Experience shows that well-managed and transparent water and sanitation services build the confidence of the customer … and can win votes. It reduces the daily burden on poor women.
