End of 1st period E-conference on KM

Today the first period of the Knowledge Management E-conference has ended. We have tried to find a common definition of ‘what we mean by knowledge management’. In total 32 contributions have been posted on line.

It has been decided not close the conference for the time being in order to enable ongoing discussions.

IRC will review the contributions received so far and will report back on them. Hopefully some generic perspectives will emerge which can serve as a bridge for the discussions in the next round: ‘how to create awareness for knowledge management’. The crucial question then will be how to get knowledge management on the manager’s agenda.
